The Family GI Clinic
Thomas L. Taxman, MD, Co-Founder, is certified by the Board of Pediatrics and the Board of Pediatric Gastroenterology. With thirty-one years of clinical practice, he provides personalized comprehensive GI care to infants, children and adults, with metabolic foundation for illness and specifically directing therapies for correction and prevention of chronic disease. He lectures nationally for various organizations and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at CWRU School of Medicine, since 1986. He sees patients in CHI and provides functional GI Medicine as a consultant in the Turning Point Pathway to Health Integrated Medical Clinic.

Appointments held for acute problems and new patients daily, scheduled in a user friendly system.

Patients are seen in a suburban private practice setting, which is easily accessible and well designed to accommodate patients and their families.

Evaluations include a wide spectrum of screening tools and diagnostic modalities to create individual management plans (IMPs).

In the Family GI Clinic, appointments are scheduled weekly in the acute phase, then bi-weekly until stable, and finally monthly for maintenance and prevention until patients are either discharged or maintained yearly. Our goal is to return our patients to the care of their primary physician as soon as possible.
In addition, Dr. Taxman consults in the TURNING POINT PATHWAYS TO HEALTH CLINIC, where he sees a range of patients, providing Functional GI Medicine as a part of the Integrated Medical Program.
